Outside of work, Eric enjoys golfing, spending time at the lake, and watching sports with friends and family.

Lori Lorenzen

Lori Lorenzen brings over 30 years of experience in sales, management, and agriculture, including six years at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance. Having co-managed a farm with her husband, she understands the unique risks and challenges faced by farmers and their families. Actively involved in women’s agricultural organizations, Lori is passionate about supporting the farming community. At Pledge, she uses her expertise to guide clients through their insurance options with professionalism, respect, and care.

Lauren Russell

Lauren Russell brings a deep understanding of agriculture and insurance to her role with Pledge. Raised on a farm with livestock and row crops, Lauren combines her agricultural background with Property and Casualty expertise to provide tailored protection for farmers and ranchers. She is passionate about mentoring new and upcoming ag business owners and helping them secure the coverage they need to succeed. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys training and starting performance horses.

With a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Kelly brings a balanced perspective of both personal and commercial lines to the Pledge team. He began his career helping individuals protect what matters most through personal insurance solutions at Mercer. Over the past six years, he has focused on supporting business owners across a wide range of industries, developing tailored insurance programs during his time with Marsh McLennan and AssuredPartners. Born and raised near Des Moines, Kelly has always maintained close ties to the agricultural lifestyle—whether visiting family who raise show lambs in northwest Iowa or spending time with his wife and sons on their family’s acreage in Colfax. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, coaching youth baseball, and making the most of time spent outdoors.

Michelle Ruff is an experienced insurance professional with over a decade in the industry, primarily focused on underwriting. As a lifelong equestrian with more than 20 years of competitive dressage experience, Michelle brings a deep understanding of the equine world to her role. Recently, she has expanded her passion for riding into the sport of polo, further enhancing her connection to the equestrian community.
